WHO ARE WE - Robert & Leslie Alexander, creators and former owners of Cesare's Wine Bar in Stillwater, MN. We now live full time in Italy. Combined our backgrounds include wholesale/retail wine sales, restaurant concept and design/buildout, wine program development and staff training,
wine education for the both the comsumer and trade.
We have been fortunate to travel to hundreds of wineries on three continents, however, we keep returning to Italy, mainly Piedmont
and we would like to share our knowledge and experiences with you.
TOUR DESCRIPTION - 5 to 14 day, custom wine and food tours, including private tours and wine tastings with winemakers, visit the famous Cheese Market in the town of Bra, Alba White Truffle Fair in October/November, hiking scenic trails through vineyards, biking along the ridges, shopping, and whatever else you would like to do followed by dinner in one of the region's famous restaurants.
TOUR FOCUS - Italian food and wine, and local history ie. Barbaresco, Barolo, Roero, Alba etc.
MONTHS - We recommend the spring/early summer and fall for the best times to experience Piedmont.
We offer 4 to 6 tours per year.
COSTS - 375 to 500 per day/night in Euros : includes lodging, meals, local transportation, and local tours
(basically everything but airfare and shopping)
